Adi Hütter, Jovic's main supporter, will leave Eintracht

Adi Hütter, Eintracht Frankfurt coach and main supporter of Luka Jovic during the Serbian's two stages in the Hessian team, He will leave the Eagles at the end of the season to become Borussia Mönchengladbach's new coach. On the Rhine he will fill the void left by Marco Rose in the summer, at which point he will take over Borussia Dortmund. It was under Hütter's orders that Jovic exploded in the 18/19 season, being key when reaching the semifinals of the Europa League with 10 goals (27 throughout the season) that motivated Real Madrid to invest a total of 63 million in the forward.

“The decision to start a new chapter from next season was not easy”, were the words of Hütter as soon as the news was known. “I have had three incredibly successful and intense years here that, together with the team, I would like to conclude with an outstanding result at the end of this season. We have a historic opportunity. The only thing that matters to me now is the success of Eintracht. We want to defend our advantage in the Bundesliga and qualify for the Champions League. We will subordinate everything to this goal “, underlined the coach who, with six days to go to the end of the Bundesliga, has placed Eintracht in fourth position in the table.

In Gladbach they hope that Hütter will be able to fight for the same goals at Borussia Park. “We are delighted that Adi Hütter has agreed to join us”, Max Eberl, sports director of the Fohlen, was quoted in a statement issued by the club. “He is the best coach for our team and our club in the face of the challenges and objectives that we have ahead of us as of the summer,” he added. Throughout his career as a manager, Hütter played on the Austrian benches at Altach, Grödig and Red Bull Salzburg, led the Swiss team Young Boys Bern and ended up at Frankfurt in 2018.
