Achraf aims for the Premier

Achraf Hakimi was Inter's great signing for this summer. The Moroccan ended his assignment at Borussia Dortmund, returned to Real Madrid and the latter showed him the exit door. Achraf sought his destination and, finally, it was Milan.

In exchange for 40 million, Achraf became a new Inter player where he has alternated a brilliant start, a more complicated adaptation stage and a return to an optimal level that has him with six goals and five assists so far this season. The Madrid player is comfortable defending Conte's five, but the club's financial needs could force him to change teams.

As reported The Athletic, Achraf Hakimi “is open” to a transfer to the Premier League given Inter's difficult economic situation. The neroazzurri had to postpone until March 30 the first payment of their transfer to Real Madrid and presented losses of 102 million euros on June 30. Achraf, valued at 50 million euros, could go out to reduce the red numbers of the next balance that those of Giuseppe Meazza have to present.

As suitors This website points to Chelsea and Arsenal in addition to pricing Achraf at a price close to its market value already quoted. The blues would include him in their profound reform, although the appearance of Reece James would make them measure with more caution whether or not they carry out the signing. Arsenal, on the other hand, would reactivate an operation that it already considered last season and that ended up ruling out for both sporting reasons (they had Bellerín as the owner) as cheap, since after its notable increase in value in its assignment in Dortmund its price exceeded the possibilities of the Gunners.

Several weeks ago, the Italian press pointed out the possibility of a play-off by Real Madrid due to the delay in Inter's payment, news that both the Milanese team and the white club itself denied, thus closing a possible return to the Bernabéu.

Suning seeks investors

Inter are in a delicate economic situation. After presenting results with significant red numbers, Suning, the Chinese company that is the majority shareholder of the club, is looking for new investors.

Marotta, sporting director, confirmed that Suning “is studying opportunities.” According to the Italian press, the oriental company would be looking for buyers for part of the 68.05% they own of the club (the remainder is LionRock Capital (31.05%), Pirelli (0.37%) and minority shareholders (0.03%)).

Inter would be valued at around one billion euros and the investment would have its risk as losses and activity expenses would have to be covered at a time where restricted access to stadiums has limited the ability of clubs to earn income. A crisis that could change Achraf's destiny.
