A season in a week

Atlético plays almost the season in a week. Simeone's team has two consecutive finals, one from LaLiga and another from Champions, against Sevilla and Liverpool. Two meetings that can mark the future of the Atlético campaign. Winning the Andalusian team and moving to the Champions League quarterfinals would be a huge step forward in the goals set by the entity at the beginning of the season. But losing to Sevilla and falling eliminated against Liverpool would be a great blow for the Madrid entity.

The first final is against Sevilla, which leads the rojiblanco team by two points. If the Andalusian team wins in the Wanda Metropolitano the distance would go to five, with the goal-average won. Five points would seem complicated to subtract with eleven days ahead. If Atlético wins the situation would be different, point above and the goal-average won.

Four days later Atlético will play in Anfield. It goes with the 1-0 achieved in the Wanda Metropolitano and that gives you options to pass the tie. The match against Liverpool is more media and all of Europe will be aware of what Simeone's team can do before the Champions champion. But the most important shock is from LaLiga, since the entity's main objective is to be classified every year among the first four.

Atlético have faced this season and some finals. The first leg against Liverpool was one of them and it was successful, although as a visitor Atlético lowers many integers. He also won in a first match that was worth double. It was two weeks ago, at home, against Villarreal, another of the teams that Europe is looking for. Atlético won, made a good game and took three key points.

Atletico played the final of the Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid. He tied to zero, although he ended up falling for penalties. He made a very good match and had the Madrid team count the ropes, although in the end he could not beat him. The idea is that Atlético grows in these games where there is so much at stake. You better. The opposite would mean almost throwing away a season in which many hopes were placed.
