A scandalous French Secretary of State: Marlène Schiappa, cover of ‘Playboy’ with the French flag

Marlène Schiappa, Secretary of State for Social and Solidarity Economy, will be the protagonist of the new cover of Playboy. The young Parisian politician will appear slightly dressed and next to her in the French flag, which has not prevented the controversy in her country in relation to the media chosen to give an interview and appear on her cover. Playboy It is the traditional magazine header in which half-naked women usually appear.

The young Parisian, however, understands that women have every right to do whatever they want with their bodies and has thus defended her decision through her social networks. Marlène has sent a very clear message to the “hypocrites”: “In France, women are free.”

French politics has also shared the statements of other colleagues who support her in her decision, such as the country’s Interior Minister, Gerald Darmanin, who has said on television “you won’t make me say anything bad about Marlène Schiappa (…) being a liberated woman is not that easy”.

The publication will be in the kiosks next Saturday, April 5, it will incorporate several photographs and will occupy 12 pages of the magazine.

Has been The Parisian the medium that has exclusively advanced this intervention by the first French woman dedicated to politics that appears on a cover of the popular and peculiar Playboy.
