Fenerbahçe have so far been unable to reach an agreement with Johachim Löw to take over the team. And according to the Turkish press, the sports management of the Turkish club is already considering two options. One of them is Roberto Carlos. The Real Madrid ambassador is the main alternative if contacts with Löw do not bear fruit.
Roberto Carlos, who is in Brazil to spend the Christmas holidays, will probably travel to Turkey on January 15 to watch the match between Antalyaspor and Fenerbahçe. The former Madrid defender is open to taking over a bench in Turkey again. This would be his third experience at the helm of an Ottoman club, after he managed Sivasspor from 2012 to the end of 2015 and subsequently coached Akhisarspor for six months.
The third option that Fenerbahçe handles is Alex de Souza’s. The Turkish club has already contacted the former captain of the team with the aim of knowing his willingness to take charge of the Ottoman bench.
