A goal from Arnaiz gives Leganés the victory against Zaragoza (1-0)

He Leganes achieved three important points in his struggle to consolidate his good feelings, by beating a 1-0 Saragossa that he lost away from home for the first time and had two consecutive trips.

Butarque He was examining two aspiring candidates for promotion with difficulties in carburetting at the beginning of the course and, perhaps both of them aware that this duel could represent a turning point, both of them came out willingly.

In the case of the locals, the offensive momentum exhibited in the preceding appointments was once again noticeable from the start. Now, the presence in the opposite area collided with the rival's order and therefore did not crystallize in danger.

Thus, it was two Aragonese failures that led to the clearest chances of the initial 45 minutes. In the first, a slip by Nieto left Palencia in a comfortable position to serve a center that Michael Santos sent high.

The Uruguayan would also star in the second, a heads-up after an error in Jair's clearance that Cristian Álvarez got well. They were the only shocks for a visiting team that only suffered against and also approached, but without intimidating.

Work had the goalkeeper back to the green again after the break, as he had to intervene to deflect the attempts of Javi Hernández and Dani Ojeda. In the end, the third time was the charm for the Blue and Whites when Gaku, in a corner, sent the ball to the edge of the area and Arnaiz scored with an impeccable strike that entered through a square.

At a disadvantage, Baraja's men had no choice but to stretch in search of a tie. But only Zapater, with a free kick from the front that brushed against a squad, was able to generate uncertainty for Cuéllar.
