A dilemma with Loren Morón

Loren is one of the Betis players with a future full of unknowns. Its irregularity in the last season invites another summer being the center of the spotlight of a possible goodbye. He did not start with Manuel Pellegrini, he intends to find more playing minutes in the next year and in Heliópolis they know that the departure of a youth squad will always leave a much-needed capital gain in this context of economic difficulties. But the dilemma is on the table: the current market does not offer guarantees when it comes to having a transfer income comparable to that which could be executed two seasons ago with the green-and-white striker.

Neither Betis rules out that Loren stays, nor does the forward himself throw away his options of being important in Manuel Pellegrini's plan. The club does not want to advance in operations that are not very effective for the economic plan and in this case there are no great offers on the table at this time. Whether there will be or not is anyone's guess. In any case, Antonio Cordón contemplates movements in his attack and there are already several names that are managed to find competition for Borja Iglesias and even partners in that offensive zone. For Loren, this is the umpteenth summer in which his figure in the team is discussed.

It is at least significant that during a period of the course Pellegrini handed over the starting jersey to the striker with some assiduity. Loren did not find the desired numbers, but the team did go through its best moment of the season in terms of results. Of his nine starts, seven resulted in a victory for Pellegrini's team and two with a draw. There were no defeats in this League with Loren as the starting piece of the Betic box. Now, Betis and Loren want to study the best option for both parties, with Pellegrini as the judge of the game.
