A complaint of the ACFF against the RFEF for prevarication and coercion admitted for processing

The Court of First Instance and Instruction number 8 of Majadahonda has admitted for processing this Wednesday the complaint filed by the Association of Women's Soccer Clubs (ACFF for its acronym) against the Royal Spanish Football Federation as an entity in addition to Luis Rubiales, its president, and Andreu Camps, Iñaki Mikeo and Pedro González.

In this complaint, the defendants are accused of an alleged “Continued crime of coercion, a crime of lucrative conditional threats, fraud, coordination of criminal organization, integration of criminal group and prevarication” as indicated in the preliminary proceedings to which AS could have access.

From the ACFF they take a further step in the line that they started years ago by taking their complaints against the RFEF to court. ANDIn the sports field, they have already filed a complaint with the Superior Sports Council for the conflict of ownership of audiovisual rights with the federative entity as the main matter.

In this line, the Association of Clubs pointed to an attempt by the RFEF to prevent the collective sale of these rights through disciplinary and sporting threats and the unjustified and discriminatory denial of subsidies for trips to the islands to certain Clubs . Some facts that are added to other conflicts due to the sponsorship of Iberdrola or the subsidies of the Universo Mujer. With all this, the matter is transferred to the courts.

After stating that it admits to processing, in this it is summoned to declare to all those present, including the president of the RFEF himself, Luis Rubiales, who will have to go to the courtroom of said Majariego Court on April 24 at 12:00 with Pedro González and the legal representative of the RFEF, accused as an entity.

In this complaint admitted for processing, it is also requested that the case be brought to the attention of the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office given “the complexity of the case” as stated in these documents.

The RFEF responds to the accusations

Through an official statement, the Royal Spanish Football Federation says “not knowing” the content of the order of the complaint today admitted for processing. From the Federation they emphasize “the link” of the ACFF with LaLiga and they recall that they have jurisprudence in favor with two Orders of the Commercial Judge “endorsing their performance.”

“The Royal Spanish Football Federation trusts the Justice and, therefore, is sure that this complaint will also have the same fate as the previous procedures”, they sentence.
