White Hart Lane is the most modern stadium in London. Inaugurated in 2019, the Tottenham Hostpur fief had a cost of more than 1,400 million euros, forcing Daniel Levy’s club to increase its debt by 700 million. That is why now, after three seasons since its premiere, the Spurs are looking for a sponsor for their stadium, and according to Business Insider, they are close to finding it. If the agreement is closed by the naming rights (naming rights in Spanish), Tottenham would receive 600 million euros, at a rate of 30 million per year.
This would imply a 20-year relationship with the sponsoring brand, of which the London club has been careful not to provide details, but that it is already suspected that it could be Amazon or Nike, the great competitors to win the contract. The Spurs want it to be the biggest deal of its kind ever reached in the world of football. Although, initially, it was considered that with the figures demanded by Levy, the 10 years of relationship with the sponsoring company of the stadium could not be exceeded. But Tottenham is betting heavily on White Hart Lane to get out of the crisis in which they are submerged.
