A total of 600 National Police officers and 130 Municipal Police will make up this Saturday the security device to avoid crowds in the squares of Neptune Y Cybele facing the end of the league, which will mean the championship for him Atlético de Madrid or the Real Madrid.
Sources from the Government Delegation in Madrid have explained to Efe that they will participate in this device eight groups of the Police Intervention Unit (UIP), two of them who come from outside Madrid, the Cavalry group, the Information Brigade and the district police stations.
There will be a preliminary phase of preparation, through the National Police security coordinators in the teams, with whom they have already maintained contact, to organize security and require coordination.
In the first phase of the device, the agents of the Mobile Brigade and the UIP, in coordination with the Higher Police Headquarters of Castilla y León, They will accompany the rojiblancos fans who travel to Valladolid, where Atlético de Madrid plays the last league game. There will also be surveillance at the different stations from where fans can leave.
The second phase of the device will take place in the Wanda Metropolitano and in the Real Madrid field, where agents of the IPU, Cavalry and Information will participate.
Already the final phase will take place in the squares Where public order and security will be ensured in the face of possible celebrations in the different points, having control devices before possible places of concentration of celebrations.
Attention will also be paid to critical points such as Congress and other places with the participation of police officers from the UIP, UPR, Canine Guides, the helicopter and Information.
For her part, the municipal spokesperson and delegate of Security and Emergencies, Inmaculada Sanz, explained yesterday that municipal agents will try to maintain the circulation of traffic and for this the capacity around the fountains will be limited if necessary.
The sources will be fenced off and from 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, different filters with fences and containers will be available in their surroundings to control access, and special emphasis will be placed on monitoring street vending and alcohol consumption on public roads.
The municipal device will have drones and will also be aware of the celebrations that may take place in the Wanda Metropolitano stadium (although Atlético plays in Valladolid on Saturday afternoon) and in the sports city of Valdebebas, where Real Madrid will play their match against the Villarreal.
