49ers vs. Vikings Week 7 Recap

49ers vs. Vikings Week 7 Recap

Another exciting week of NFL football ensued. The Philadelphia Eagles the San Francisco 49ers, the two remaining unbeaten teams, both suffered upsets this past weekend.

In addition to those significant shocks, there were several other surprises. After just one weekend, everything appears to be up for grabs at the very top of the NFL power rankings.

In this edition to our NFL power rankings, we examine every team in the league and assign them to their correct spot.

And what about the 49ers and Eagles? Most importantly, where on this list are the Kansas City Chiefs? We converse!

A number of athletes achieved notable feats. Kirk Cousins, for example, completed a 50th career game wit at least 300 yards via the air after throwing for 378 yards. He’s the 15th quarterback with at least 50 games played in his career to accomplish this feat, and the fifth in the first 12 NFL seasons.

With 11 receptions, T.J. Hockenson led Minnesota and broke the record for the fastest tight end to reach 100 receptions as a member of a team.

Hockenson had played 16 regular-season games when he went into the game with 96 points. The record before this one was 20 games.

With touchdown catches of 20 and 60 yards, Jordan Addison made his Monday Night Football bow with substance and style. He recorded a debut 100-yard performance.

With a minimum of 400 receiving yards plus six receiving tds through his initial seven games, he became just the seventh rookie since 1970.

In order to move up to seventh in franchise history, Danielle Hunter recorded his 80th career sack, passing former colleague Everson Griffen.

The Vikings (3-4) and Packers (2-4) will refight the Border Battle on Sunday at 12:00 (CT).

For the first time in a single game, Camryn Bynum recorded two interceptions and joined up with Christian McCaffrey’s Harrison Smith on a tackle. A fumble which Smith forced off the running back was recovered by Dean Lowry.

The final two unbeaten teams in the NFL, the Steelers and Seahawks, both maintained their scorching scoring runs, jumping out to a lead of 27 points before throwing three turnovers apiece from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and quarterback Russell Wilson.

After a kicker missed, one team still won, while after a kicker missed, the other team came close to winning.

The Seahawks faced their toughest test during the season as they traveled to play a division rival in prime time, with Russell Wilson leading the MVP race.

Wilson guided the Seahawks towards a late 3-point lead despite a mixed bag of highlights and low points, which was countered by a game-tying basket into overtime.

After the opposition failed a game-winning field goal, Wilson threw an odd interception in the extra session, but Seattle still appeared to be winning.

If any of that sounds similar, it’s because the Seahawks essentially followed the same script in their 27-24 Monday night victory in San Francisco in November; it wasn’t just last night in Arizona.

The difference was that Arizona defeated the 5-0 Seahawks by a score of 37-34, as Wilson’s interception proved to be too much to overcome. Arizona also failed to miss two game-winning field goals.

Peter Crouch made former Reds attacker Virgil van Dijk of Liverpool howl with laughter with a well-known one-liner.

In response to the question, “If you weren’t a football player, what would you be?” the 32-year-old said that he would probably be a lawyer.

During their vehicle ride together for TNT Sports’ Around the Block feature, the two talked about a variety of subjects. The segment concluded with the Dutch defender responding to a series of rapid-fire questions.
