2,000 children and 50 coaches from Thailand learn about football and good practices with the LaLiga Foundation

MADRID, 31 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Through its foundation in Surat Thani, in southern Thailand, LaLiga has developed various social and educational activities for 2,000 boys and girls from the 19 districts that make up said province, as well as more than 50 coaches.

With an “exponential growth” of interest in football in the province, the LaLiga Foundation traveled to Surat Thani to develop one of its educational and training projects, designed above all for the younger population of this region.

The foundation of the league entity considers that soccer has established itself as a “strong educational and inclusion tool” in the area, thanks to the values that are extracted from its practice, such as teamwork, camaraderie, tolerance or equality.

Since March, when an agreement between the LaLiga Foundation and the AV Academy Football School materialized, various social and educational activities have been carried out for 2,000 boys and girls from the 19 districts that make up this province, as well as more of 50 trainers and trainers.

The latter have received a hybrid training process between online and face-to-face in socio-sports matters, guided by the LaLiga Foundation’s own methodology ‘Values to Win’.

“The objective is to create opportunities for the youngest in the region to bet on being more active and healthy thanks to football, so that they can enjoy their free time in an intelligent way and learn and develop as people while enjoying a sporting activity full of values”, assured the LaLiga Foundation.

The foundation has actively collaborated in this collaboration through the donation of sports equipment and with accompaniment in the project actions, as well as the face-to-face visit of a LaLiga Foundation socio-sports technician to the field to visit some academies of the program and complement the training process for local coaches.

The director of the LaLiga Foundation, Olga de la Fuenteh, highly valued the different activities carried out in Surat Thani. “Boys and girls in the region are being provided with a series of knowledge that is very useful for their personal development, in addition to generating a series of training opportunities of great value among local technicians,” she highlighted.
