1-1: Maikel Mesa avoids the victory of Albacete with a controversial penalty

Las Palmas added a point in their visit to the Albacete field (1-1) after marking Maikel Mesa in the 90th minute a controversial penalty by Arroyo's hand that balanced a balance that Fran García had diverted in the first half.

Las Palmas, who did not know the victory away from home, was planted in La Mancha lands with twelve points in the classification, four more than one Albacete on the rise who came from achieving two victories and a draw at the hands of his new coach, Aritz López Garai.

The local team took the reins of the game, circulating the ball a lot and showing more incisive in his entrances on the wing, as in an action by Álvaro Arroyo in which he crossed with his left leg from the left side to allow Nahuel to connect a header at the far post that went over the top from the crossbar defended by Vallés (min.10).

The same trend was maintained after half an hour of play, with a greater presence in the opposite field of the local team against a visiting team that tried to enter the band. Precisely, the result of a progression on the right wing of Eric Curbelo the first yellow occasion occurred, in a center of the side that Maikel Mesa finished off deflected at the height of the penalty spot.

However, the one that went ahead on the scoreboard was Albacete after a long set-piece play that ended with a very good cross from Nahuel Arroyo headed at the far post by Ortuño to make it appear Fran garcia and, after controlling with the chest, send the ball to the bottom of the tights (min.37).

With that minimal advantage, a more fortunate Albacete team left since the change of coach and that he knew how to manage his advantage against a Canarian team that took command of the match as the minutes passed, although it did not translate into clear scoring opportunities.

There was a big fightYes, for winning the midfield in a clash with a lot of shock, although not without quality between two squads that like to combine.

Aridai, who came out in the second act for a gray Cedrés, tried his luck in a somewhat distant foul in which he printed power to his shot, although not placement, leaving the ball over the goal of a Tomeu Nadal, that hardly had a leading role in the stake.

Vallés had more, although on the negative side, by ‘swallowing’ a pumped cross in the 77th minute that did not end in a goal because Boyomo trusted and, with a head, he sent the ball out when the second white goal seemed to be brewing.

Too was close to marking Cardona in a set piece that put Aridai in the area, but goalkeeper Tomeu Nadal reappeared as usual to deny him the goal and continue to maintain his mark as a man ‘savior’.

The meeting totally turned when the VAR entered to review a play that, finally, Galvez Rascón observed on the monitor and that ended up decreeing a penalty by some alleged hands of Arroyo. Maikel Mesa, hero of the white permanence last season, he scored from eleven meters as he did in Cádiz in June, although in that case for the Albacete and today for Las Palmas (minute 90).
