Week 8 Fantasy Football Streamers: Dalton Kincaid, Gardner Minshew, And Others

Week 8 Fantasy Football Streamers: Dalton Kincaid, Gardner Minshew, and Others

Greetings and welcome to our weekly PPR football fantasy superflex rankings for Week 8 in the 2023 NFL season.

These rankings take into consideration the fact that a large number of you participate in superflex formats, which encourage or desire to start second quarterbacks in beginning lineups.

Although it may seem strange, the potential scoring impact justifies starting the lowest-ranked fantasy quarterbacks ahead of normal RB2 and WR2 alternatives. Just disregard the presence two quarterbacks if the league you play in is the typical flex sort.

Since we’ll be taking a week off after the bye, your roster ought to be nearly complete for the upcoming game. Naturally, this does not preclude you from using the wire to improve your squad.

Around this time every week, we establish a set of readily accessible fantasy possibilities that are authorized for usage right away. Downs, a talented rookie who plays in the slot with the Colts, has five catches total.

Against the Browns, he finished with 125 yards and a single touchdown, giving him scores in back-to-back games.

During his final two years at UNC, he broke the plane 19 times and caught 195 passes, making him an extremely effective collegiate athlete.

In every game this season, Downs has taken more than 70% of the snaps, so playing time hasn’t been an issue. Next week, he’ll face the Saints, and the following Sunday, he’ll face the Panthers.

I’ll compile a weekly ranking of the top fantasy football free agents who are currently available. “Widely available” in my opinion is defined as having players who are owned in around half the ESPN / Yahoo leagues and some others who would be better off on the free agency pool than gathering dust on your squad.

With that success, I’ve turned it into a weekly series of recommendations for the best streaming alternatives at each of these positions and tight end, which can come in handy when needed.

Adding someone for a particular week depending on the matchup is the idea behind streaming, as opposed to placing more weight on a player’s long-term projection.

Players that are available in a minimum of 40% of Yahoo! leagues are the only ones I’ve highlighted. To find out who the best player of your league is, please consult my player rankings, which are dependent on your league parameters.

Since none of the players in my top 13 are available for 40% of leagues, this is a very open week for quarterback streamers.

My QB14 and QB21 are only one point apart, so before Sunday, we might see some changes to my rankings in this range. Minshew is currently number one on my list as QB14 as of Tuesday afternoon.

Minshew has just finished two straight games with at least 300 yards of passing against the Jaguars and Browns, two strong defenses.

This week’s game against the Saints will be even more difficult for him, although they have a relatively soft schedule of opposing quarterbacks and might be a little overvalued.

If at all, I would not bid very much to acquire Minshew. After a strong Week 7, someone might be more aggressive regarding their FAAB, and I would allow it. He’s worth streaming if he’s the best quarterback you have in your league this week.

It is hoped that Burrow and the Bengals were able to recuperate during the bye week. For the remainder of the season, I rate him a top-eight quarterback, so I kind of expected that, but I’ll be wary for a week or two more.

That’s partly because, before I start him, I like Burrow to look like Burrow. But the main reason is that he’s playing against a top defense in San Francisco, which has dropped its last two games.

As a result of two touchdown throws of 50 yards or more, Minshew went 15 for 23 for 305 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception against the Browns of Cleveland in Week 7. He also gained 29 yards by running and scored twice on the ground.

In the game, he additionally dropped three fumbles; in the previous two games, he has been responsible for eight turnovers.

With Minshew, though, turnovers are a factor because he has passed for more than 300 yards in consecutive games.
