PSG confirm Di Maria’s departure

Ángel Di María will not continue at PSG. This has been confirmed by the Parisian team in a statement issued this Friday and in which they thanked Fideo for the seven years he has spent with the club, leaving an indelible mark by becoming the top historical assistant of the current Ligue 1 champion.

In seven seasons with PSG, the Argentine international played 294 games, scoring 91 goals and providing 111 assists, a record for the entity that will serve to receive a tribute this Saturday at the Parc des Princes during the last game of the season against Metz. Di María will say goodbye to the public before, probably, signing for Juventus.

“Ángel Di María has left a permanent mark on the Club’s history. He will remain in the memory of the fans as someone with an irreproachable attitude, who has defended our colors with impeccable commitment. I ask the entire Paris Saint-Germain family to come to the Parc des Princes tomorrow to pay him the tribute he deserves,” Nasser Al-Khelaïfi acknowledged on the PSG website.
