MADRID, 7 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Center back Marcos do Nascimento 'Marcao' and midfielder Lucien Agoumé are out for Sevilla FC after both breaking the rectus femoris of their thigh, during this Monday's match against Rayo Vallecano at the Vallecas Stadium, a match corresponding to matchday 23 of LaLiga EA Sports 2023-2024, according to a statement.

“Once the pertinent medical tests have been carried out, the Sevilla FC Medical Services report that both Marcao and Lucien Agoumé suffer a muscle tear in the rectus femoris of the left thigh, which occurred in this Monday's match against Rayo Vallecano” , reported the Seville club.

Both players would be out for a few weeks, just when they were beginning to settle into Quique Sánchez Flores' eleven. Their absences join those of Tanguy Nianzou, Kike Salas, Nemanja Gudelj, Erik Lamela, Dodi Lukebakio and Mariano Diaz, who continue with their respective recovery processes.
