Concern for the health of Jorge Javier Vázquez is growing: “He has gone to the hospital for tests”

It has been 18 days since the Mediaset star presenter announced his television retirement with a message on Twitter that set off alarm bells: “Sometimes you have to stop. The body and mind send you signals and throughout my life I have been little to listen to them. Until today. I need to stop to take care of myself”. The causes remain a mystery and although many pointed to a mild depression or anxiety attack, it seems that there is something else: “They have seen him enter the hospital.”

Jorge Javier Vazquez, who we last saw on the 26th on an outing with Rocío Carrasco, has been visiting a well-known medical center for days, as several photojournalists have been able to corroborate, according to Diego Arrabal: “They followed him to the hospital and it was learned that they were doing tests on him,” he said on his YouTube channel. “If he doesn’t say it, I can’t talk about what’s wrong with him, but come on, it’s a health problem.”

It must be remembered that the Catalan presenter suffered a stroke in March 2019. “I was in a disco in Marrakech but I thought it was dizzy because I was drunk. Back in Madrid and after several days with an intense headache, I went to the hospital,” he said. The medical report of the center revealed that Jorge Javier had been admitted “with a picture of subarachnoid hemorrhage of aneurysmal origin that was treated endovascularly with a completely satisfactory result. During his admission, the patient was conscious at all times, without neurological affectations and hemodynamically stable.” A few months later, he had to go through the operating room again: “After a long-awaited test, they told me that I have to go through the operating room again in December.”

Last year, Jorge Javier revealed that suffers from sleep apnea in a ‘severe’ state, so he has to sleep connected to an oxygen machine. In fact, during his trip to Peru, he suffered from ‘altitude sickness’ and had to go through a hyperbaric chamber to treat pulmonary edema. Back in Spain, he underwent several medical tests: “I have brought a virus that they cannot identify.”
