The mixed duets will be for Emma García and Fernando Díaz del Río himself, as well as for Mireia Hernández and Dennis González.

Tió already led the generational change during the previous World Cup, played last year in Budapest (Hungary). This event was held in the wake of an international calendar that World Aquatics has been trying to balance since the covid pandemic upset all its forecasts, in the spring and especially in the summer of 2020.

Two of the titles were won by teams (technical routine and free routine), remaining ahead of powers from the ‘Old Continent’ such as Ukraine, Italy, France, Israel or Austria, among others.

Thanks to this background, the 14 athletes on Mayuko Fujiki’s list will try to shine again.

Until July 22, the Spanish ‘synchro’ will deploy its team routines in Fukuoka with a call that includes Cristina Arámbula, Marina García, Lilou Lluís Valette, Txell Mas, Paula Ramírez, Sara Saldaña and Blanca Toledano; meanwhile, Berta Ferreras will attend as a reserve and the technical ‘staff’ will be 10 members.
