The American shooting guard Jaylen Hands, 25 years old and 1.91 meters tall, has become a new player for Zunder Palencia this Wednesday, which has thus signed “a winger with great athletic and scoring ability” from the Greek Peristeri BC.
“American foreigner Jaylen Hands has reached an agreement with Zunder Palencia and is now part of the squad of the team coached by Luis Guil,” the Palencia club indicated on its website.
Born on February 12, 1999 in San Diego, with Peristeri he has played in the HEBA League and the Basketball Champions League (BCL). “Hands, who during his university years played at the University of UCLA, has played as a professional in several European countries, until arriving in Greece, where he first played for PAOK (with which he also played in the BCL) and then for the aforementioned Peristeri,” the press release stressed.
Finally, Zunder Palencia described the Californian as “a forward with great athletic and scoring capacity, who can act in the shooting guard and point guard positions, who has averaged 12 points, 3 rebounds and 1.8 assists this season in the Greek League ; and 15 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists in the continental competition.”
