Zaragoza confirms the signing of midfielder Eugeni Valderrama

Real Zaragoza has confirmed the agreement with attacking midfielder Eugeni Valderrama for the remainder of the season and two more years.

Eugeni Valderrama Domènech (Tarragona, 1994) arrives at the free Zaragoza entity after ending his contractual relationship with the Portuguese Arouca, a team from the Portuguese First League with which he has played 11 games this season with a total of 528 minutes.

Valderrama has extensive experience in the Second Division, in which he made his debut at just 17 years old with Nástic de Tarragona, with whom he played four games in the category to which he returned with Lorca FC after passing through Sevilla Atlético, Lleida , Badalona and Valencia Mestalla.

In the winter market of the 2017/18 season, he left on loan to Cádiz and then signed for Albacete in the following campaign, in which he consolidated after playing 36 games for the La Mancha team in which he scored 8 goals, bordering on promotion to First division.

Later, he played for SD Huesca in the 2019/20 seasons and the following one, before signing for the Portuguese Arouca.

The Aragonese club defines Eugeni as an attacking midfielder with a lot of technical quality, with a great ball kick and a high offensive vision who can act in various positions in the midfield and who arrives at Real Zaragoza to put all these virtues at the service by Juan Ignacio Martinez.
