Athletic Club announced this Saturday the muscular injuries of Yeray Álvarez and Raúl García, pending more tests, when there is one week left for the start of LaLiga Santander.
“The player Yeray Álvarez suffers a muscle injury in the rotators of his right hip. For his part, Raúl García has a muscle injury in the right soleus and both players are pending additional tests,” says the club.
Both players were injured on Friday in the match against Real Sociedad in which the ‘lions’ won 1-0 and took the Euskal Herria Txapela. Ernesto Valverde’s men will make their league debut on August 15 against Mallorca.
