“Xavi Hernández sees things that nobody sees and will be a legend as a coach”

José Manuel Pinto (El Puerto de Santa María/1975) is clear that Xavi Hernandez will triumph in Barça as a coach. The former culé goalkeeper, who shared a dressing room with the Catalan coach for many years, assures that he is an “encyclopedia of football” and that his gift is “seeing things that no one else sees”. “Xavi he is happy because he is at home and because he is a person who is doing what he likes. He lives by and for football and I think he will be a legend as a coach. He does things with passion and he is going to get it”, he explains to MD.

The Andalusian, who retired from professional football in 2014, decided to create a discipline called ‘P13FIT‘ that unites his two great passions: football and music. “Sport and music have always been linked for me. It is an intense, easy and fun training”, she transmits.

“Jumping rope is the exercise that burns the most calories of all. Five minutes jumping are equivalent to an hour of continuous running, it’s outrageous”, insists Pinto. “It is an intense training that we have made fun. Jumping rope prevents osteoporosis because the bones are strengthened. The important thing is to jump correctly, it has less impact than running.”
