First and only trip for Queen Letizia this week, just on the eve of her 52nd birthday, this Sunday, September 15. The Queen has traveled to Azuqueca de Henares, in Guadalajara, where she has inaugurated the school year at the CEIP Maestra Plácida Herranz. A visit that has left us with a photo album of Letizia’s most spontaneous gestures.
The Queen really likes this event. It is a travelling event that symbolically marks the start of the school year in Spain and this year has taken her to the town of Azuqueca de Henares in La Mancha. During her tour, she has visited the facilities, greeted the school management and teachers. There are also images with the boys and girls in their classrooms. Letizia is a great nanny and has a strong connection with the little ones. She sits in one of her colourful chairs and shares a desk with them. She knows how to ask them questions, talk to them while they show them their crafts with flowers and cardboard. For this visit, the wife of Felipe VI has been accompanied by the Minister of Education, Pilar Alegría; and by the President of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page.
In terms of style, the Queen always repeats her choices for this visit: in this case, basic black trousers and comfortable block-heeled sandals, in a very similar version to the white ones she wore two days ago. They were combined with a striped blouse with puffed sleeves at the cuffs. A comfortable outfit that allows her total freedom of movement and helps her project a friendly and simple image. Not at all sophisticated.
