French central defender Raphael Varane had to leave the field in the 31st minute of the match between Real Madrid and Getafe at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium after receiving a shot in the lower right part of the face, in an aerial dispute with Etxeita.
The French defender, who was performing at a high level behind, with Sergio Ramos, his regular partner next door, tried to compose himself during the break for hydration after half an hour of meeting, but he did not feel well and went to the locker room leaving the feeling of being stunned.
In place of Varane was the Brazilian Éder Militao, who returned to have participation with the team after the 30 minutes played in the victories against Eibar (3-1) and against Real Sociedad (1-2).
Cervical injury
