Three more for the cause: Busquets, Alba and Braithwaite rejoin

Ronald KoemanLittle by little, he adds players to his squad. This morning has received confirmation that both Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Martin Braithwaite had successfully passed the medical tests and the PCR control, so the medical services gave the green light that they could rejoin the group. In this way, the three internationals exercised for the first time this preseason, although they only participated in the warm-up with the group, making an aside with the physical trainer, Albert Roca, to complete the work session.

Evidently, The three players will also be part of the expedition that travels this afternoon to Stuttgart in order to carry out a seven-day stage through German lands. In principle, it seems hasty that they may be available for Saturday's game against Stuttgart, although the final assessment will be made by the coach according to the feelings of the players.

The 'morbid' in the case of Braithwaite is served, since the Dutch Memphis Depay snatched the number 9 in the last friendly against Girona. We will see in the next matches if the Dane keeps the number he wore last season after the departure of Luis Suárez or finally agrees to give up the former Lyon player.

Alba and Busquets also arrive at the club with the uncertainty of their future: both players have been contacted by the club to review their contracts downwards, although it seems that the predisposition is not being entirely positive on the part of the footballers.

With the addition of these three players, Koeman already has a total of 19 first-team players, although four of them (Coutinho, Fati, Dembélé and Ter Stegen) are not yet available due to injury.

The next to join will be the finalists of the Copa América -Agüero, Emerson and Messi-, who are expected at the beginning of next week, although in the case of Leo it will be necessary to see how the club manages his reinstatement as he has not yet been able to close his new contract.
