This is Alberto Arenaza: the only Spaniard on the 2022 Forbes under-30 list

Forbes magazine publishes each year a list parallel to the publication’s famous ranking, the ’30 Under 30 ?, which also celebrates its 10th anniversary. For this reason, the American media has not only released the classic version, but has also brought together the most important names of the decade.

However, there is a name to stand out among all the categories this year, the one of the only Spaniard that appears in the list: Alberto Arenaza. This young entrepreneur appears in a publication in which characters such as Mark Zuckerberg, Lebron James, Miley Cyrus or Rihanna were included.

He is the co-founder of Transcend Network, who with only 25 years appears in the Education category of a classification that includes promising youngsters from the global business landscape. But, what has this entrepreneur done to be in the ranking?

Who is Alberto Arenaza?

Alberto Arenaza founded, along with Michael Narea, Transcend Network in 2019 after graduating from Minerva Schools, a non-profit university where students from seven countries study.

The San Francisco-based company is a business school. A training that has already welcomed more than 100 entrepreneurs from 33 countries, including more than one winner from the past ’30 Under 30 ‘.

“Transcend Network started with a fundamental belief: to be the future of learning and make work more global than we can imagine today,” they say from the company.

Arenaza obtains funds with student fees and company sponsorships. The business is based on a 6 week training, in which these entrepreneurs connect with the most global community of entrepreneurs in the world. In addition, these students have access to the necessary resources to find a product that fits the market. Participants in this program have raised more than $ 70 million.

Alberto Arenaza goes down in the history of this magazine along with other Spaniards such as Pablo Rodríguez-Fernández, Esti Blanco-Elorrieta, Inmaculada Hernández, Guzmán Díaz, Pablo Pantaleoni, Javier Agüera Reneses or Amalia Ulman.
