LaLiga announced this Thursday the schedules for the two postponed matches of the first day of competition: Real Madrid-Getafe and Barcelona-Elche. The Whites will live their derby on Wednesday, February 17 in Valdebebas from 7:00 p.m. Barcelona will do it the following week, on the 24th of this month and at the same time, 7:00 p.m. The blaugranas will face the people of Elche at the Camp Nou.
The blaugranas and the madridistas will thus get into the rhythm of LaLiga, since both have played 17 games when the next day to be played will be the eighteenth. At the moment, Atlético has a two-point difference from Real Madrid and seven from Barcelona when they have a two-game difference with them. Both whites and azulgrana will have the opportunity to join in while waiting to see what the competition leaders do in their postponed matches.
How are the calendars?
This postponed match will fall to Real Madrid in a stretch of the calendar against the teams that are fighting for permanence in LaLiga. Zidane's men will open the month against Huesca (February 7) and will have a week off before a rally of matches before Valencia (February 14), east of Getafe (February 17), on 21 against Valladolid, on 24 against Atalanta in Italy and on the 28th to close the month against Real Sociedad. Just to start March, on the 7th, derby against Atlético, against whom he will presumably continue to fight for LaLiga.
Barcelona, for its part, will start February facing Betis, on the 14th, will play against Alavés and then the Champions League at home against PSG. The return to LaLiga will be against Cádiz and the match against Elche will be prior to the end of the month, on the 28th against Sevilla.
