MADRID, Jan. 13 (SportsFinding) –

The Spanish women's soccer team will head to the United States next March to play the prestigious SheBelieves Cup, a friendly tournament where faces with powers such as the host team, current world champion, England and Japan will be seen.

The international importance of national women's football is increasing and proof of this is the invitation to play this competition from March 2 to 13, another step in its evolution after having played the Cyprus Cup and the Algarve Cup.

According to the national team, Jorge Vilda will debut on March 5 at the Exploria Stadium in Orlando against Japan, tenth of the FIFA ranking, and three days later, on 8, it will be the turn of the rematch against the current world champions in the Red Bull Arena of New Jersey. This will be the third duel between the two in just over a year after the friendly Alicante at the end of January and the round of last 16 of the World Cup, both with American triumph (0-1 and 2-1).

Finally, the closing of this SheBelieves Cup will be against another European power such as England, sixth in the FIFA ranking and organizer of the next Eurocup in 2021, which Spain will face on March 11 at the Toyota Stadium in Houston.
