The Slovenian Vincic will referee Inter-Barça and the Romanian Kovacs, Brujas-Atlético

MADRID, 2 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Slovenian Slavko Vincic will be in charge of refereeing this Tuesday the match of the third day of the Champions League group stage between Inter Milan and FC Barcelona at the Giuseppe Meazza (9:00 p.m.), while the Romanian Istvan Kovacs will do the same on the same day at the Jan Breydelstadion between Bruges and Atlético de Madrid (9:00 p.m.).

Vincic, 42 years old and an international since 2010, will direct a match for the Catalans for the first time and for the third time one of the Italians, who drew on the previous two occasions: in the group stage of the 2014-15 Europa League against Saint -Étienne (1-1) and in the same round of the 2020-21 Champions League against Shakhtar Donetsk (0-0).

For his part, Kovacs will meet Diego Pablo Simeone’s men again, against whom he delivered justice in the first leg of last season’s Champions League quarterfinals against Manchester City, a duel that ended in a red and white defeat ( 1-0).
