The reasons for Pjanic’s exclusion from your selection

Although it has become viral that the midfielder did not play against Ukraine for being expelled by his coach after starring in a scandal, sources close to the footballer have explained to this newspaper that Miralem “did not play for a physical issue and that the photos published smoking are ancient”

Miralem Pjanic, midfielder of FC Barcelona on loan this season to Besiktas, has been at the center of the controversy for an alleged scandal during the concentration with his team, prior to the match against Finland, when he would have attended a party and engaged in smoking sisha. Some information pointed out that Pjanic, as a reprimand to that party and the subsequent defeat (1-3) against Finland, where he only played 66 minutes, he was expelled from the concentration by his coach and was excluded from last night’s match against Ukraine.

However, sources close to Pjanic consulted by MD have flatly denied that this information is true. “The published photos are old and Miralem was not going to go to a party wearing the tracksuit of his team, it would be absurd,” they explain from the Bosnian international. “He could not play against Ukraine due to physical discomfort, not because he was expelled from the national team,” the same sources insisted.
