The Premier League, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 present their new faces

MADRID, 5 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Three of the five major leagues will kick off the 2022/23 season this weekend, a course that will have a different calendar marked by the mandatory break caused by the World Cup in Qatar. The first matchday will also mean the premiere for many of the players who have changed teams this summer and we take advantage of it to review some of the ones we consider most exciting from the Premier League, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1.

PREMIER LEAGUE.

1. Erling Haland. In the Premier, this name stands out above all. The Norwegian player signed for Manchester City in the initial stretch of the summer, after paying 60 million to Borussia Dortmund and surprising many people. He will play in the team in which his father already did and in search of alleviating the theoretical deficit of an area player. He is not the only reinforcement in the ‘citizen’ forward, as the great hope of Argentine football has also arrived, Julián Álvarez, who lands from River Plate and has already made his debut as a scorer in the Community Shield.

2. Darwin Nunez. Another team with important changes in their attack is Liverpool, who have lost Sadio Mané, but have made a big bet on this Uruguayan striker. 75 million euros have been paid for the 23-year-old attacker who scored 34 goals for Benfica last year and who hopes to form a new lethal trident alongside Mo Salah and Luis Díaz.

3.Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian striker has also been another of the cheerleaders of the market. The Brazilian leaves Manchester City after six seasons to be the leader of Arsenal’s attack, in exchange for around 52 million euros. At 25 years old, the striker is facing the great opportunity of his career to show if he is a star.

4. Richarlison. Something more expensive (58 million) has cost this striker to Tottenham. The Brazilian takes a step forward in his career by joining a Champions team in which he will try to show if he is ready to play in a big league after scoring 53 goals in his four years at Everton.

5.Raheem Sterling. The new season will also serve to see the English international in the Chelsea shirt. After passing through Liverpool and Manchester City, the striker will now play for his third team in the ‘Big Six’. After seven years in Manchester, he is now going to London for more than 50 million in search of more prominence.

6. Kalidou Koulibaly. This defender has also joined the ranks of Thomas Tuchel, called to fill the void left by Christensen and Rüdiger. The Senegalese is going to the Premier after triumphing at Napoli, where he demonstrated his ability to be one of the most dominant defenders in Europe.

7. Christian Eriksen. Another of the most outstanding signings, especially because of his symbolism. The Danish midfielder, who caused a scare last summer with his fainting due to a heart problem in the EURO, will play again in a major Premier League. After his return to the fields with the Brentford shirt, he signs free for Manchester United, where he will try to show that he continues to maintain the necessary level for the elite.

8. Gianluca Scammaca. Outside of the biggest teams, the signing of the Italian for West Ham stands out. The British have paid 36 million for the striker for Sassuolo and the Italian national team, taking him away from Juventus and PSG in a very ambitious move.

9. Diego Carlos. The Premier League, in addition, has taken talent from Spain, as is the case of the Brazilian central defender, one of the banners behind Sevilla and who will play for Aston Villa after the Birmingham side disbursed more than 30 million to become with your services.

BUNDESLIGA.

1. Sadio Mane. Switching to the Bundesliga, the main cheerleaders in the market have been Bayern, who have lost Robert Lewandowski, but have acquired another great striker to fill his gap. The Senegalese arrives to be the star of the Bavarian attack, a condition that he already demonstrated in the Super Cup, where he saw the goal and lifted his first title in the German country.

2. Matthijs de Ligt. However, the great investment of the champion’s summer has been in defense. Bayern has pulled the checkbook to take the Dutch center-back from Juventus, trying to make the 22-year-old player the leader of the rearguard of one of the best teams in Europe for the coming years.

3. Sebastian Haller. The Ivorian has been another of the big names of the summer, although in his case we will have to wait to see him. He was Borussia Dortmund’s big bet to cover Haaland’s void in attack, but a testicular tumor that has turned out to be malignant will keep him off the pitch indefinitely. Karim Adeyemi, one of the great promises of the last Champions League, will be the great ‘borusser’ asset now.

4. Mari Gotze. Another illustrious name that returns to the Bundesliga is that of the German midfielder. After performing at a good level in the Eredivisie with PSV, Eintracht Frankfurt, current champion of the Europa League and Real Madrid’s rival in the Super Cup, has opted for him to play in the Champions League in the 2022/23 season, where he hopes recover the prominence that was diluted when he left Dortmund.

5. David Raum. This defense has been another of the agitators of the Bundesliga market. RB Leipzig has paid almost 30 million for the left back of the German team, who played at Hoffenheim, forcing Angeliño to look for a team during the last month of the transfer market.

LIGUE 1.

1. Vitinha. In Ligue 1, PSG, in addition to retaining Kylian Mbappé, is the one who has moved the market the most. His most outstanding signing has been the Portuguese Vitinha, a 22-year-old midfielder who arrives from Porto that has cost the Parisian team 40 million euros.

2. Alexander Lacazette. It will be a season in France of returns, like those of this striker and Corentin Tolisso at Olympique de Lyon. The striker will once again be the man who leads his team after an irregular stage at Arsenal, where he did not finish reaching the level that was expected despite having had great stretches.

3. Kasper Schmeichel. The Danish goalkeeper leaves Leicester closing a successful stage of eleven years and ends up in the highest French competition, where he will defend the goal of Nice, a team that Lucien Favre will train and that is called to fight for everything.
