The money that Dani Alves would have lost after his entry into prison for the alleged rape

Dani Alves, in provisional prison without bail since January 20, has filed an appeal through his legal team to try to obtain provisional release with precautionary measures. They argue that there is no risk of flight after being fired from the Pumas de México and that, in addition, he has stopped receiving certain income that reduces this risk of flight.

According to this resource, to which Cadena Ser has had access, the former Barça footballer has stopped receiving between 30,000 and 50,000 euros per month in sponsorship, image and advertising contracts. Among the brands that have stopped working with the Brazilian, Hygia Saúde, 1xPartner, Ethika and Adidas.

The case of Alves

The alleged rape of the 23-year-old girl occurred on the night of December 30-31 in a nightclub near Avenida Diagonal in Barcelona. After giving a statement, she was remanded to Brians 1 without bail. Days later, they agreed to transfer her to Brians 2 for security reasons.

In his latest movements, the defense of the winger, who has contradicted himself in his versions, has asked to be released from provisional prison, alleging that the recordings of the security cameras of the Sutton nightclub “deny” the version of the woman who reported him for allegedly sexually assaulting her in the bathroom of the VIP area of the premises on the night of December 30, 2022.

The woman has denounced that the aggression occurred once inside the bathroom, where there are no cameras, but Alves’ defense points out that the complainant has described that previous moment “as lived in a climate of terror, fear or microcosm of domination, a scenario that the images deny it in the most radical way”, as interpreted by the defense.

The lawyer wants to convince the court of the Audiencia de Barcelona that it will resolve the appeal that there was no “environmental intimidation” to break the will of the woman.
