The house where Elvis Presley and Priscilla spent their honeymoon, sold for 5.6 million

Her and her fiancee, the professional tennis player Cary Collinsthey have decided to buy the views of the mountains and its “wonderful, sexy and strange” design.

In addition to hosting such illustrious guests at such a special time in the Memphis star’s life, the house is a listed historic monument and is worth the money on its own. Back in the 1960s, the famous newlyweds leased the 1,430-square-meter property for a year and paid $21,000 for it, at the time, in total.

Priscilla is now 77 years old and met Elvis in Germany when she was just 14 and he was already in the army. Her father, a captain in the US Air Force, was also stationed there with her entire family. Elvis Presley and Priscilla were married six years, had a daughter, Lisa Marie Presleyin 1968 and divorced in 1973, four years before the rock idol passed away.
