The Farinato Race lives this weekend its fourth stop in Madrid’s San Martín de la Vega

MADRID, 29 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Farinato Race, the most important national obstacle course circuit, will celebrate this weekend its fourth event of the season in the Madrid town of San Martín de la Vega with an event that the organization intends to be special, with a lot of mud, and distances of 13 and 7 kilometers, initiation, youth and family.

According to the organizers, among the obstacles that the participants will have to overcome will be the trenches, the straight wall, the wire fences, the Irish board, the flipping, the weight load or the handrail.

“Knowing the plaster and plaster terrain we can develop a more intense event to offer a better experience. We are going to work much more with the mud, it will be much more spectacular, and above all it will be very hard. There will be many hard obstacles such as loads and drags taking advantage of the slopes we will base ourselves on that part”, warned Rubén Morán, organizer of the Farinato Race.

The race has caused great expectation as 2,000 entries have been registered in all categories, most of them from the Community of Madrid (83 percent), with 61.5 percent of men and 38.5 of women, which represents a very significant increase compared to the previous edition.

In addition, the Farinato Race works with the 2030 Objective against childhood obesity and the collection of rubbish for cleaning riverbanks. To influence this purpose, a school proposal has been launched to
that schools participate in the ‘farinatito school’, while during the two days of competition there will be activities of a playful nature such as a ‘food truck’ fair.

After the dispute of this Farinato Race in Madrid, the circuit will conclude in the Sevillian town of Mairena del Aljarafe, where it will land on November 5-6 to put the closure to a successful season.
