The eleven of day 19 of LaLiga SmartBank

The nineteenth LaLiga SmartBank day had eleven protagonists that we detail below. Yuri (Ponferradina), Guruzeta (Amorebieta), Bastón (Oviedo) and Stuani (Girona) stood out, with doublets. Seoane (Huesca) and Brugman (Oviedo) scored one and gave another. The defense was clearly a scorer: Ignasi Miquel (Huesca), Alejandro Francés (Zaragoza) and Carreira (Mirandés).

The position of the best goalkeeper is usually filled with goals that do not fit. This journey is not the case. Andrés received two goals, yes; but he earns the right to be in that position for all those he saved. Huesca beat Valladolid thanks to their eight interventions.

But of course, if you concede so many, to win you have to score … and here is Ignasi Miquel. The Huesca defender was astute to get ahead of his defender and put his head in, to lodge the ball into the net and thus inaugurate his scoring account of the season.

Zaragoza gain momentum in the standings thanks to their victory against Eibar. The goal was the work of another defender, an Alejandro Francés who is completing a magnificent season: a corner thrown by Francho, the center-back breaks Róber Correa and impales a volley at the back of the goal.

Despite the defeat, Mirandés were at a high level against Ponferradina. To tell the truth, he didn’t deserve to be defeated. Carreira gave hope to the Burgos team, scoring a goal with suspense, which at first seemed not to have completely entered the goal.

Seoane (Huesca)

Okay, his goal was not beautiful and to tell the truth he had some fortune, but Seoane’s season is being of remarkable high and you always have to keep an eye on him. This day he earns his place in the eleven for his goal (the sixth of the season) and a wonderful assist in the aforementioned goal from Ignasi Miquel.

Brugman (Oviedo)

Oviedo cemented their victory against Alcorcón thanks to two players. The first of them was Brugman, who was in charge of putting land in the middle on the scoreboard with a goal (from a crossed header) and an assist (to Borja Bastón with a warm center).

Baena (Girona)

Baena showed against Leganés that it is not necessary to score goals to appear in the eleven of the day. The midfielder has earned this place with his double assists, both to Stuani. The first came after a counter; the second after a beautiful center. He was able to round off his night with a goal, but it was canceled.

A few lines ago we said that Oviedo’s victory against Alcorcón was about two players. We had one left, the most important. Borja Van Bastón adds and continues. Another double for his account and he already has ten goals, one less than the top scorer in the Stuani category.

Yuri (Ponferradina)

Yuri is already a centenary. The Ponferradina forward surpassed 100 goals in the Second Division, with a new double to beat Mirandés. The ram is in good shape and everything it touches makes it dangerous. He could have made a hat-trick, but the crossbar denied him the goal.

Guruzeta (Amorebieta)

The Amorebieta was in need of alegrías and that’s where Guruzeta came to give it to him twice. The striker debuted his scoring account of the season with a momentous double at La Rosaleda, which served to garner the first away win of the season.

Stuani (Girona)

We have allowed ourselves the license to put a clearly offensive scheme this time. It was impossible to leave out some of the doublets of the forwards and less, of course, that of the top scorer in the category with eleven goals. Stuani, in four counted moments, already has eleven goals. A striker whose goals keep falling out of his pockets.
