The City of Soccer will host the 2022 Spanish Women’s Super Cup

The Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas, headquarters of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), will host the 2022 Spanish Women’s Super Cup, which will be played between January 19 and 23, according to the federative entity this Wednesday.

The tournament will celebrate its seventh edition, the third in a row since it recovered in 2020, with the presence of Atlético de Madrid, current Super Cup champions, Levante, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, ​​European and Iberdrola League champions .

The Ciudad del Fútbol picks up the baton from Almería, headquarters in the 2021 season, for a meeting that will face Real Madrid and FC Barcelona on January 19, in the first semifinal; while Levante and Atlético will look for a pass to the final on the other hand, on January 20.

Indeed, Atlético de Madrid is the current champion after beating Levante in the final of the last edition at the Juegos del Mediterráneo stadium in Almería. This year’s final of the Spanish Super Cup will be played on Sunday, January 23.
