The 2023 Rioja Bike Race will have 170 kilometers with almost 4,000 meters of accumulated unevenness

The ninth edition of the La Rioja Bike Race presented by Pirelli, the mountain bike race that will be held in Logroño and Albelda de Iregua from May 12 to 14, will consist of 170 kilometers and 3,984 meters of cumulative unevenness in three stages, report the organizers in a statement.

The first departure will be from the Valdegastea neighborhood, just 10 minutes by bike from the Palacio de los Deportes in Logroño, where the paddock will be located, and which will finish at the Palacio de los Deportes itself. It will be with a short stage between La Rioja vineyards, 28 kilometers and 526 meters of cumulative unevenness.

The second will be the ‘queen stage’ and it will be called Skoda Super Stage, with 86 kilometers and 1,718 meters of cumulative unevenness with a long ascent past the halfway point to Moncalvillo. And the third, the Oakley Finisher Stage, will start and finish in Albelda de Iregua, the most technical, with 54 kilometers and 1,740 meters of accumulated elevation gain.
