MADRID, 16 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish futsal team defeated Ukraine (3-0) in the second friendly match between the two teams, played this Tuesday at the Albaida Municipal Pavilion (Albelda de Iregua (La Rioja), thanks to the goals of Borja Díaz, Sergio Lozano and Cecilio.

Fede Vidal’s team, which already defeated Ukraine on Monday in the first stake for the same result, offered a good level on their return to action after the World Cup. He already demonstrated it a day before and confirmed it in the second friendly match, marked by the international debut of the young Antonio Pérez.

Spain – which deserved a bigger score – went ahead after three minutes thanks to a combination between Adolfo and Borja. The morateño took the ball to the bottom of the tights after controlling it with his chest and defining with his left foot. A great goal. With 1-0 in favor, Spain turned on the Ukrainian goal in order to extend their lead.

Catela tried his luck on a couple of occasions and Artem, in the visiting box, crashed the leather on the post. That was the best chance for the Ukrainians, who conceded 2-0 in Sergio Lozano’s boots shortly after starting the second half. The Madrilenian scored with a hard shot and the Ukrainian collaboration in the first minute of the second round.

The final 3-0 came at 26 minutes as a result of a play started by Cecilio, who started and finished the play himself. The one from Movistar Inter sentenced Ukraine and left a great sensation in both games, as did the rest of the players who returned to the national team: Lozano, Esteban and Catela.

The Spanish futsal team will return to action in Rincón de la Victoria (Málaga) against Portugal, European and world champions. Hispanics and Portuguese will meet again on December 18 and 19, both meetings being at 9:00 p.m.
