Spain is worth a draw to go to the quarterfinals

With four dots on your locker, Spain leads group C of these Olympic Games of soccer in the absence of a single day to close the first phase.

Luis de la Fuente's team faces Argentina (Wednesday, 1:00 p.m.) depending on himself to be in the quarterfinals. If Spain wins, it will be first in the group, but in the event of a tie, the Spanish team would also secure a ticket for the next round.

Even so, the tie would not confirm 100% the first place of the group for the Red, but would leave the national team to Australia match result expense before Egypt.

If Spain ties and Australia does not win, the National Team will be first. Instead, a victory for the oceanic against Egypt coupled with a draw by Spain would leave the Australians first and the Spanish second, with Argentina eliminated.

Another possible scenario is that of the defeat of the national team. In case of losing to Argentina,
Spain could even pass if Australia also lost before Egypt. Any victory or draw for the Australians combined with a defeat for La Roja would leave Luis de la Fuente's team out of the tournament.

In case of tie to point
s decide the overall goal difference, which in this case would favor Australia: Spain would be at least with a difference of zero and Australia, at least, would have a ‘+1’ in their difference in goals scored and conceded.

This is the classification of group C:

1. Spain – 4 points (goal difference, +1)

2. Australia – 3 points (+1)

3. Argentina – 3 points (-1)

4. Egypt – 1 point (-1)
