The relationship between aunt and niece was very close. Teresa was an inspiration to Sofía, who admired her deeply. In fact, she was the designer who made the wedding dress for Sofía, future Duchess of Alba, who said “yes, I want” to Fernando Fitz-James Stuart, in October 2018.

A very discreet woman, she was hardly seen at public events or parties, but she was very active on social networks, where she boasted almost daily about her designs and her team, to whom she had been very close since she founded her company, in 1992, and with whom he was now working to turn his firm into an ecological and sustainable brand.
