Russian triathlete Igor Polyanskiy, sentenced three years for doping with EPO

The Russian triathlete Igor Polyanskiy has been sanctioned with three years of disqualification after testing positive for EPO consumption in an out-of-competition anti-doping control carried out on July 21 in Vladivostok, World Triathlon announced this Thursday.

Polyanskiy contested two events at the Olympic Games, finishing 43rd in the individual competition and 14th along with her Russian teammates in the mixed relay event. Both results have been annulled after its positive.
