Renfe has become the Official Train of the Movistar Estudiantes coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the basketball club, following the agreement signed by the president of the railway company, Raúl Blanco, and that of the collegiate club, Ignacio Triana.

In this way, Renfe reaffirms its “commitment to sport” in general, and to basketball in particular, in its commitment as the Spanish Sports Train. Both entities agree to work together to promote the use of the train among student fans.

This agreement is part of Renfe’s strategy as a Sports Train, and to link its image to the most outstanding competitions and sports in the country, such as basketball.
