Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have formalized the transfer of Álvaro Odriozola, until the end of the season, to the Bavarian team. A sung exit, which could be the only one of the white club of not moving Mariano or Brahim, and that will give the right back an opportunity to return to count on minutes after being left behind by the excellent level of Dani Carvajal.

Odriozola will have a new opportunity in his career, this time under the command of Hansi Flick. The interim coach of Bayern, replacing Kovac, requested reinforcements to the German directive to face the second part of 19/20 and that of the San Sebastian side is an option that allows many variables. In Munich, although Kimmich or Pavard have alternated in the right lane during the last months, the arrival of the Spanish international frees them both so that they can be well in the center of the field, the first, as well as central, the second.

In addition, with this assignment until June 30, without any clause, Madrid will have the option to see if Odriozola can recover the level he showed in the Royal Society and that led him to sign for the picture meringue last season. One way to gain a place in the squad of 20/21, where Carvajal will theoretically continue as the undisputed holder, who will have a direct rival in the Bundesliga, specifically in the great rival of Bayern, Borussia Dortmund.

In the fight they maintain for the title, together with Leipzig and Monchengladbach, Achraf Hakimi stands out within the yellow club. The Moroccan defender accumulates good minutes in his assignment in Dortmund and at the end of this campaign he also ends his assignment in Madrid, so he will have a career with Odriozola to reach the theoretical position of substitute right back.

Odriozola arrived at the Bernabéu in the summer of 2018, after his excellent 17/18 at the Royal Society, but he has never finished curdling. In the shadow of Carvajal, the Donostiarra has had irregular peaks that with Zidane have never finished guaranteeing their confidence. Marked by the defeat against Mallorca, which at the moment is the last this year of the Madrid team, his assignment comes to try to recover the level of Anoeta and return to the club with greater confidence and, why not, may have options to sneak in the list of the Selection for the Eurocopa 2020.
