Real Madrid celebrates its Ordinary and Extraordinary Assemblies this Sunday

This Sunday at the Real Madrid City basketball pavilion, Real Madrid celebrates its Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assemblies of Representative Members at 9:00 am on the first call and at 10:00 on the second.

The act, which will be held in person and online, will begin with the report by the president, Florentino Pérez, on the current state of the club, before moving on to the approval of the settlement of the budget, the report, the balance sheet and the profit and loss account of the club for the financial year 2021-22.

The consolidated budget of income and expenses and the project of activities for the 2022-23 financial year will also be submitted for examination and approval, and the proposal for social contributions for the 2023-24 season will be made.

According to the white entity in September, the 2021-2022 financial year left a profit of 13 million euros in the coffers of the club, which has a net worth of 546 million.

The Ordinary General Assembly with questions and answers, where topics such as the European Super League, the frustrated signing of Kylian Mbappé or the dismissal of the basketball team coach Pablo Laso could appear.

Subsequently, the Extraordinary Assembly will take place, where the appointment of Amancio Amaro as honorary president will be submitted for the approval of the partners, replacing the deceased Paco Gento.

Approval will also be sought for the modification of article 40 of the Articles of Association, which refers to the electoral procedure and the requirements to be a candidate for the presidency of the club, and the approval of the merger by absorption, with effect from July 1 of 2023, of the Club RSC Internacional FC.
