Real Madrid and Barça continue their duel at the top

Placido for the whites and more worked in the culés against Betis and San Pablo Burgos

MADRID, 21 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Madrid struck down in the morning (71-48) at Coosur Real Betis this Sunday and in the afternoon Barça beat, much more sweat, Hereda San Pablo Burgos (69-83), both at the top of the Endesa League with 10 wins in 11 rounds.

The white team led from start to finish a Betic team that entered with a worrying 18-6 at the WiZink Center. Another blow after the break sentenced the Andalusians, greatly outmatched in the fight under hoops raised by Tavares and Poirier.

The one from Cape Verde had 11 points and 7 rebounds and the Frenchman was also highly valued (11), with three blocks each, in another step ahead of Heurtel and Yabusele, who are increasingly established in the team. The Betis are at the bottom with only two victories.

Meanwhile, in the duel that closed the day, Barça cooked a hard-fought victory, as demanded by the Burgos Coliseum. Sanli and Jokubaitis had an inspired day from the beginning, and they ended up being the solution to everything.

The pivot was multipurpose (19 points, 11 rebounds and a PIR of 29) and the young point guard had 18 points and contributed throughout the game. Barça regained the path of victory in the League after losing to Valencia, while Burgos conceded their sixth straight defeat.

In addition, UCAM Murcia, with seven victories in the noble zone, took another step to dream of playing the Copa del Rey de Granada in a direct duel with BAXI Manresa, eighth. The Murcian triumph (81-67) was led by a great Radovic (17 points), a greater counterpoint to Moneke’s recital in the visitors.

Meanwhile, Bitci Baskonia achieved a restorative victory (83-77), the fifth of the year, against MoraBanc Andorra. Jayson Granger was confirmed as the leader of the Vitoria group, with seven triples and 25 points, to help heal wounds in a very close duel.
