Raúl hits the key

The shiny new Primera RFEF (an improved version of the defunct Segunda B) threatened to make Castilla pay the hazing, but Raúl has come to the rescue. The Seven has made adjustments and begins to hit the key: the white team has won the last three games (to the leader Villarreal B, the Costa Brava and Algeciras) and from the hot zone has gone to look at the positions that lead to direct promotion (the first) or the playoff to go up as second option (from the second to the fifth). It has them to only four points.

A streak that only another team in the entire First RFEF (40 teams) equaled this last month, Barça B, and that Raúl had only achieved last March, when he also scored three consecutive wins (Rayo Majadahonda, DUX and Atlético). He is achieving this by managing a team that has struggled to see the goal and in which the scoring effort is coral. Aranda and Arribas, with three goals each, lead the top scorer from Castilla.

Rafa Marín shone against Algeciras and scored 2-0, he is one of the most promising centrals in Valdebebas.

Of course, Raúl does not marry anyone. In 12 days he has made 26 different players play, including five recruits from Juvenil A: is about Mario Martin (286′), Marvel (279′), Alvaro Rodriguez (32 ‘, this one with Juvenile B’s file), Living room (6 ‘) and Ferrer stick (2′). Talents such as center-back Rafa Marín, the ‘boss’ in the 2-0 Algeciras on Sunday, have also emerged. The average for this Castilla is 19 years and four months. Relevant data when there are veterans such as the illustrious Güiza (41 years old), the former Rayista Juli (40), or the former international Pablo Hernández (36). Raúl’s novices are already showing.
