Portugal takes revenge against Spain with a win in the second friendly

MADRID, Jan. 15 (SportsFinding) –

The Spanish women's futsal team fell defeated on Wednesday against Portugal (5-1) in the second friendly match between the two this week, held in the Portuguese town of Vila Real, despite advancing on the scoreboard with a goal from Irene Samper.

Spain, the current European champion, took the first tie 1-4, but this Wednesday he hit the knee despite his good start. Samper scored 0-1 and continued the good game of the initial clash, although Portugal's response was blunt and endorsed the Red a win.

Ana Azevedo and Janice Silva turned the scoreboard in just two minutes. Clàudia Pons stopped their opponent until the break, but failed to see the door. In fact, they would not do it again throughout the game. Portugal took advantage of the final stretch to extend its advantage.

The center Carla Vanessa managed the third six minutes to go. Spain adopted the game of five, but the 'tugas' had no mercy and extended the account to five. Catia Morgado and Ana Azevedo closed the thrashing of the premises, which claimed the revenge only one day later.
