At just 17 years old, Pedri made his debut with the Spanish under-21 team. The FC Barcelona striker made his debut playing a few minutes in the match between Spain and North Macedonia, corresponding to the European qualification phase of the category.
Pedri was booked from the start by Luis de la Fuente, the U21 coach, but in the second half he entered to try to unravel La Rojita, who did not go from a draw to zero against the Macedonian team.
The canary, with the number 21 at his back, jumped onto the field with 20 minutes remaining (70 ') and stood as a right winger.
Three other Barça players, Miranda, Riqui and Aleñá, made up De la Fuente's starting eleven.
