Eibar's preseason continues to take shape. If yesterday the first three rivals met who will put those of Jose Luis Mendilibar This summer –Mirandés, Rayo Vallecano and Leganés–, the gunsmith team confirmed today that it has also agreed to preparation matches with Osasuna and Athletic, two First-class teams that will force the gunsmiths to increase their performance in the last stretch of the summer. Those from Jagoba Arrasate will host Eibar on September 4 in Tajonar (7.30pm) and the next day in the morning those from Gaizka Garitano will do the same in Lezama (11.30am).
And the thing is that the Zaldibar coach wants his team to arrive with clear ideas at the start of the championship, in which one more year they will try to avoid relegation. And what better way than to achieve this by increasingly complicating their players the commitments they will have to face before the start of a new League on 12 September.
Mirandés, Rayo and Leganés will play the next season in the Second Division, while the rojillos will be one more year direct rivals of those from Ipurua in the attempt to avoid burning and Athletic will again try to obtain a European ticket.
