Oblak is on the Net

Nowadays social media is a very useful way to communicate with people from all over the world. With a message you can reach any corner of the planet, something that can be of great help when you want to transmit global information. It is usual that most people (especially young people and middle-aged people) have an account on one of the countless social networks out there (especially Twitter) and, of course, footballers are no exception.

The vast majority of elite players have an account on Twitter and the exception is the one that does not. In the case of Atlético, one of those who lacked it was the goalkeeper, Jan Oblak. The Slovenian, despite being one of the most acclaimed by fans, both from his team and the rest, until now did not have this way of communicating with his fans. He did have an account on Instagram, but not on Twitter, and today he made the official presentation of his new account on this network (@oblakjan) using, how could it be otherwise, a tweet to announce it.

The message he has put is the following: “It took me a while, but… Hello Twitter! I hope to share good times with all of you here”. He has included the same message in English and Slovenian for his followers. With this “novelty”, Oblak joins his teammates Grbic, Trippier, Vrsaljko, Giménez, Hermoso, Lodi, Koke, Saúl, Correa, Carrasco, Vitolo, Diego Costa, Llorente, Herrera, João Félix, Luis Suárez and Torreira, who also have a Twitter account. Of the 23 members of the mattress staff, only Felipe, Savic, Manu Sánchez, Lemar and Saponjic are not users of this social network.
